Geneva subsidy: why 30 November is a date not to miss

JMBy Juliette Marsaud·Published 10 June 2026·Updated 12 August 2026

One date comes back every year in the Geneva subsidy calendar: 30 November. Missing it can be costly, quite literally. Here is why, and how to prepare calmly.

What 30 November means

It is the general deadline to file your subsidy application for the year. A file sent too late means months of premium reduction that are not paid to you. Yet the subsidy can reach CHF 348 per month per adult: the stakes are far from symbolic.
