A few questions to work out your monthly support.
The subsidy is financial support paid by the canton of Geneva to reduce the cost of your compulsory health insurance premium (LAMal). The amount depends on your unified determining income (RDU), your household situation and your age.
Take action before 30 November 2026 to protect your entitlement for the year.
If you are 18 to 25, or hold a B, L, N or F permit, you must reapply every year.
Our advisers put the file together and submit it to the SAM: by post, email or the e-démarches portal.
The SAM is in high demand: the earlier you apply, the sooner your premium goes down.
